  काठमाडौ । नेपाल कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (नेकपा)का उपाध्यक्ष वामदेव गौतमले बिहीबार दिउँसो राष्ट्रिय सभा सदस्यको सपथ लिएका छन्। यसअघि आजै राष्ट्रपति विद्यादेवी भण्डारीले उनलाई मन्त्रिपरिषदको सिफारिसमा राष्ट्रिय सभा सदस्य मनोनित गरेकी थिइन्। गौतमले अपराह्न सिंहदरबारस्थित कृषि समितिको सभाहलमा राष्ट्रियसभा अध्यक्ष गणेशप्रसाद तिमल्सिनाबाट पद तथा गोपनियताको सपथ लिएका छन् ।उनलाई सोमबार बसेको मन्त्रिपरिषद बैठकले राष्ट्रिय सभा सदस्य मनोनित गर्ने निर्णय गरेको थियो। सो निर्णय बुधबार राष्ट्रपति कार्यालयमा पुगेको थियो।सपथ लिए संगै बर्दिया १ बाट प्रतिनिधिसभा चुनाव हारेका नेकपा उपाध्यक्ष वामदेव गौतम ‘माननीय’ भएका छन्।

The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention has announced an "emergency approval" for use of the #Covid19 vaccine. The vaccine will be available to the "first line of defence heroes who are at the highest risk of contracting the virus", a minister announced. This will protect them from any dangers and provide safety precautions. "The vaccine emergency approval for use is fully aligned with regulations and laws which permit accelerated authorisation process," said Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). "The results of the first and second test phases (of the vaccine) showed that it is safe, effective and triggered the right response." Officials said the emergency approval was granted on "meeting a set criteria for this specific purpose, and working closely with the vaccine's developers".   KATHMANDU:   Nepal Airlines’ Senior Pilot Vijay Lama has tested positive for coronavirus infection. It has been learnt that another NA pilot too has contracted Covid-19.On Sunday, a NA flight had airlifted an army team to Sudan and the pilots and crew got their swabs collected the very day.   काठमाडौं । सरकारले कोरोना भाइरस परीक्षणका लागि गरिने पीसीआरको शुल्क घटाएको छ । स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालयका प्रवक्ता डा. जागेश्वर गौतमका अनुसार आइतबारबाट लागू हुनेगरी सरकारले पीसीआर परीक्षणको शुल्क दुई हजार रुपैयाँ निर्धारण गरेको हो । सरकारले सरकारी र निजी सबै प्रयोगशालामा अब दुई हजारभन्दा बढी शुल्क लिन नपाउने गरी निर्णय गरेको प्रवक्ता गौतमले जानकारी दिए । पीसीआर परीक्षणको शुल्क २४ सय रुपैयाँ घटेसँगै अब दुई हजार रुपैयाँमा कोरोना परीक्षण हुनेछ । सुरुमा सरकारले ५५ सय रुपैयाँमा पीसीआर परीक्षण गर्ने निर्णय गरेको थियो । भदौ १४ गते ११ सय रुपैयाँ शुल्क घटाए ४४ सय रुपैयाँ लिएर पीसीआर गर्न पाइने निर्णय गरेको सरकारले आइतबार थप २४ सय रुपैयाँ घटाएको हो । यस्तै बंगलादेशबाट आएको रेम्ड़ेसिभिर औषधि नेपाल स्वास्थ्य अनुसन्धान परिषद्को निर्देशिका अनुसार रेम्ड़ेसिभिर प्रयोग गर्न सुचिकृत बाहेकका अस्पतालहरुमा विरामीको चाप हेरेर वितरण गर्ने र त्यसको सम्पूर्ण विवरण परिषदले मन्त्रालयमा पेश गर्नुपर्ने निर्णय पनि मन्त्रालयले गरेको छ । हालै ५ हजार भाइल रेम्ड़ेसिभिर प्राप्त गरेको मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ ।...

  Ninety UN peacekeepers in south Lebanon have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, a spokesman for the UNIFIL force said on Sunday.    Qatar’s ruler Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met representatives of both the Afghan government and the Taliban to wish them success during peace talks taking place in the Gulf state, Qatar state media reported on Sunday. Talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban began in the Qatari capital Doha on Saturday, aimed at ending 19 years of war in Afghanistan. Sheikh Tamim met with the Afghan High Council for National Reconciliation Chairman Abdullah Abdullah and the accompanying delegation, QNA said on Twitter. Sheikh Tamim told Abdullah he wished the negotiations success and to achieve the Afghan people’s aspirations for national unity, progress and prosperity, Qatar News Agency said. He expressed the same remarks in a meeting with Taliban political office head Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, which was also attended by a delegation, QNA said in a separate tweet.
